Made to Suit Exhibition — Sydney Tattoo Convention 2026

Back by demand for 2026, the Made to Suit Exhibition returns to Sydney Town Hall as part of the Sydney Tattoo Convention. This world-first tattoo art installation showcases over 70 hand-painted bodysuits created by tattoo artists from across Australia and around the world. Each piece tells a story — a blend of fine art, tattoo design, and raw creative expression that celebrates the culture and craftsmanship of tattooing.

What started as a casual conversation between tattooers has grown into a powerful annual exhibition — a space where traditional tattoo imagery meets large-scale gallery presentation. Made to Suit pays tribute to the origins of tattoo storytelling, while pushing it into new territory through colour, design, and symbolism.

The exhibition’s logo continues to honour “The Great Omi” — famously tattooed by George Burchett in the early 1900s. His legacy of transformation and creativity captures the spirit of Made to Suit: dedication, individuality, and fearless self-expression.
